If you're an entry-into-practice (BSN or CNL) student, professional advisors in the Office of Academic and Career Success can provide you with individualized, integrative, and ongoing educational support to promote academic success, career exploration, and your personal well-being.
Upon admission to the BSN program or CNL option, you'll be assigned a professional advisor who will guide you in the development of educational plans that are consistent with your academic, personal, and professional goals.
Your advisor assignment will be emailed to you no later than the fourth week of the semester.
The Office of Academic and Career Success offers Learning Lab Sessions and Peer Tutoring in specific courses taught by people who have previously completed those courses and who have strong communication and teaching skills.
For the Spring 2022 semester, Learning Lab Sessions and Peer Tutoring will continue to be offered virtually due to COVID-19. Days and times for Learning Lab Sessions will be communicated by course faculty and/or Learning Lab Leaders through Blackboard and email.
Please read and/or download the University of Maryland School of Nursing Peer Tutoring Agreement prior to seeking tutoring services. Students are responsible for following the policies in this document should they seek/use tutoring services offered through UMSON.

For all other tutoring (314, 316, 317, 319, 324, 327, 414, 501, 503, 505, 514): Please see the list of tutors provided on course Blackboard pages and reach out to tutors directly. In your outreach, please provide your name, course that you are requesting tutoring for, and your availability (be as specific as possible). We will do our best to honor all requests but cannot guarantee that tutoring will be available for all requests. Thank you for understanding. |
