Career Counseling Appointments Types
Below is a list of the career counseling appointment types that are offered by the Office of Academic and Career Success - Baltimore and Shady Grove campuses:
- Career Decision-making
- Resume/Curriculum Vitae (CV) Review
- Cover Letter Review
- Personal Statement Review
- Interview Preparation
- Job Acceptance/Evaluating Offers
Baltimore Campus
Students attending classes at UMSON Baltimore campus, please schedule an appointment with the Office of Academic and Career Success at the UMSON campus in Baltimore by logging in to Careers4Nurses:
- Click on “Counseling” located on the top left corner of the red navigation bar.
- Select “Schedule an Appointment” button.
- Select the date, time, length (30 or 60-min.) and format (in-person or virtual) for your appointment and select “Submit.”
- You will receive a confirmation email with appointment details.
Shady Grove Campus
Students attending classes at the Shady Grove campus, please email Laura El Shafei, Director of UMSON Office of Academic and Career Success at USG at lelshafei@umaryland.edu to request an appointment.
Cancelling an Appointment:
Should you be unable to keep your appointment, please email the career staff member directly to cancel your appointment. As professional courtesy, please provide 24-hour notice, when possible.
