The future of nursing: Maryland leading the way!

The development of innovative educational and clinical processes is key to the preparation of nurses for practice in an ever-evolving and complex health care environment. This conference is designed to explore new models, interventions, practices and policies that are advancing the preparation of the future nursing workforce and innovation in academic and practice partnerships.


Objectives

  1. To articulate measures taken to re-envision the educational preparation of nurses.
  2. To explore innovative policy and educational initiatives designed to advance clinical practice knowledge and skills.
  3. To describe academic-clinical partnership models and activities leading to the advancement of nurses and nursing practice.
