10 for $10,000 UMSON Innovat10n Grants

General Research, Teaching, and Community-Based Innovation

Purpose 

The intent of these innovation grants is to support faculty to complete small innovative pilot grants to be used to build future fundable studies. These innovative ideas can focus on research in general (e.g.,  behavior change, long-term care, acute care interventions, maternity, pediatrics, adult health, geriatrics, omics, oncology, etc.), educational research (e.g., student education in alternative settings of care such as long-term care or senior housing, innovative teaching and learning approaches including use of simulation, etc.), or community-based research or evaluation projects (innovative ways to engage the community in a behavior change intervention; innovative approaches to addressing school health, housing, and homelessness in urban and rural settings; cost savings evaluation of existing UMB programs, etc.).
