USG: Nurses’ (Power) Walk

Join a 1-mile nurses solidarity walk around the USG campus to celebrate National Nurses Week. Show your UMSON spirit and wear your favorite UMSON apparel and other swag! RSVP by Wednesday, April 29.

Sport your UMSON or University of Maryland, Baltimore swag, whether it’s a T-shirt, a hat, a pin, or anything else! If you don't have anything UMSON or UMB specific, wear the color red! Take a pic of you, your friends, and/or your colleagues showing off your spirit, and tag us on Instagram or X @marylandnursing or include our hashtag #UMSON.

Scavenger Hunt

Tune in to your email or social media for clues to conduct a scavenger hunt in our Living History Museum online catalog, and delve into the history of UMSON and nursing. The first two people who bring their correct answers to the location indicated above during the specified time frame will get a fun UMSON prize! But even if you’re not among the first, everyone who participates wins something!

Join the African Student Nurses Association for games, team activities, and fellowship in an open, supportive environment. This sendoff serves as a moment of gratitude, reflection, and community building.
