Fall Flash for Spring 2027 Admission: On-the-Spot Admissions Opportunity

Missed the Deadline? Don't Worry - There's Still Time!

If you missed the deadline to apply to the University of Maryland School of Nursing (UMSON) for the spring 2027 semester, don’t worry! You still have a chance to join us at our Fall Flash On-the-Spot Admissions event at both our Baltimore and Universities at Shady Grove (USG) locations. Apply and receive an admission decision the same day!

Event Details:

On-the-spot admissions for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Baltimore and USG) and Master of Science in Nursing Entry-into-Nursing (MSN-E) (Baltimore only) programs.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • GPA: Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and science GPA of at least 3.0

What to Bring:

  • Official or unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended

Admission Criteria:

  • BSN Program: Overall GPA of 3.0, science GPA of 3.0, TEAS score of proficient or higher, and completed prerequisites
  • MSN-E Program: Bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field, overall GPA of 3.0, science GPA of 3.0, and completed prerequisites

  • Our team will review your application and provide feedback on your qualifications.
  • Receive an admission decision on the spot if you meet the criteria.
  • You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss your application with our admissions team.
