Research Interests
- I am interested in exploring how nursing can play a transformative role in addressing the growing shortage of healthcare providers in the United States. This includes examining the expansion of advanced practice nursing roles, such as nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists, and their impact on primary care delivery.
I am interested in how community and population health nurses address social determinants of health (SDOH) across the care continuum—from hospital to home. My focus is on nurse-led interventions that reduce disparities, improve care transitions, and strengthen community partnerships. This research aims to highlight the nurse’s role in advancing health equity and population health outcomes.
