• Dr. Mooney-Doyle's program of research advances family science in the context of serious pediatric illness, medical complexity, and pediatric palliative care. Her recent work has focused on sibling well-being, family belonging, ethical dimensions of caregiving, participation in cancer research, and pediatric-to-adult health care transitions. Through NIH-funded, interdisciplinary, and community-engaged research, she develops evidence that informs equitable, family-centered interventions and policies supporting children and families across the illness trajectory.
