At the University of Maryland School of Nursing, you’ll have access to some of the nation’s premiere nursing programs.
Becoming a nurse takes commitment, perseverance, and compassion. Our curriculum is challenging, but you’ll have support—from our faculty, staff, and fellow students. UMSON’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing will provide you with the skills and confidence you need to thrive in many areas of health care.
A perfect blend of instruction, theory, and hands-on clinical experience, our BSN will give you the foundation to be an outstanding nursing professional while preparing you to pursue an advanced degree—a powerful option for nurses who aspire to be leaders in the field.
Intended for students who have already earned a baccalaureate or higher degree in a field other than nursing, the Clinical Nurse Leader option prepares graduates to provide direct patient care and clinical nursing leadership in hospitals, the community, long-term care facilities, the home, and other settings. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) developed the CNL role in collaboration with nurse leaders in academic and health care settings.
As a nurse, you’ve seen the impact you can make in peoples lives. Now make an impact in your career with an undergraduate or advanced degree from UMSON. Click a program to learn more:
