Fall 2017 deadline: TBA

UMSON uses the Maryland Hospital Association’s designated vendor, Castle Branch, to manage and review student immunizations, compliance documents, background checks, and drug testing.

Immunizations, certifications, and licensure will need to be renewed throughout your time at UMSON. It is your responsibility to monitor your Castle Branch account and maintain your compliance per the outlined requirements. Tools such as the Compliance Self Tracker are available to keep track of renewal dates and you will also receive notifications from Castle Branch 21 days prior to a requirement’s expiration date. DNP students entering clinical courses will not receive their clinical assignment information unless they are compliant at least one month prior to the start of the semester.

Learn more about compliance instructions.

Compliance Self Tracker

We highly encourage students to print the Compliance Self Tracker, keep the “last updated” and “renewal” dates current, and post it somewhere in your home/office where it is visible to remind you of important compliance dates. You do not need to submit this document to UMSON; we simply recommend you use it as a tool to maintain compliance. Click here to download the Compliance Self Tracker.
