We build bridges across the Maryland nursing community by serving as a resource for nursing data; an advocate for issues affecting the nursing community; and a champion for recruitment, retention and educational efforts as we work together as a community to create a stronger Maryland nursing workforce.

Data and Reporting

As our primary mission, we transform nursing workforce data into accessible dashboards, briefs, and reports that inform planning and policy development across Maryland.

Advocacy

We support partners advancing the nursing profession by providing evidence-based data, research, and collaboration that equips advocates and decision-makers.

Recruiting and Pathways

We work with nursing schools and healthcare organizations to identify barriers and strengthen pathways into nursing across Maryland.

Retention

We partner with organizations statewide to conduct research, disseminate best practices, and support initiatives that retain nurses and faculty.

Nursing Education and Professional Development

We deliver educational offerings that support nurses across Maryland, including the Universal Onboarding Project used by nearly every school and hospital statewide.
