Perceptive Experience (formerly WebNow)

The University of Maryland School of Nursing’s Office of Admissions has implemented Perceptive Experience (formerly WebNow), a comprehensive imaging and document management system that allows for the linking and routing of documents. Authorized users of the imaging system who too, are authorized access to School of Nursing applications are given access to Perceptive Experience. Perceptive Experience allows authorized users secure and easy access to School of Nursing (SON) applications. The electronic documents are accessible from any location with internet access. The availability of applicant materials electronically enhances admissions processes, document retrieval, and document maintenance. Questions about the using Perceptive Experience for admissions related tasks should be directed to the Office of admissions by email admissions.nursing@umaryland.edu or by telephone 410-706-0501 option #2.

Help Ticket

  • The Office of Admissions has partnered with the Help Desk to create a “Help Ticket” to address issues that WebNow users may experience logging on the Perceptive Experience system and the reviewing of applicant materials.  Additionally Perceptive Experience “Help Tickets” also are submitted to address issues with the insertion of decisions, changing statuses, inputting notes, etc… on application records along with granting and removal of user access toPerceptive Experience.

Anyone experiencing Perceptive Experience issues should click here help@umaryland.edu  to submit a Perceptive Experience Help Ticket.

In order to access Perceptive Experience for the first time on a particular computer, you must configure Java. Office of Admissions staff members are available to assist with configuring your pc to accessPerceptive Experience; SON IT is not needed for the configuration. To configure your pc, the configuration process will take roughly 10 minutes.

Please send an email to admissions.nursing@umaryland.edu to schedule your time with an admissions staff member.
