Assignments / Assessments
Assignments/Assessments in Blackboard are not only a great way to assess mastery of course content and objectives, but also help ease the burden of collecting and grading student submissions into one centralized location. Assignments are commonly used for items such as case studies, problem-based learning exercises, essays/research papers and group projects, while assessments primarily include quizzes, exams and surveys.

Grade Center - Uncovered!
Blackboard’s Grade Center resembles a spreadsheet where each row is populated by a user in your course and each column includes information for an assignment, test, graded blog entry, or survey. The Grade Center lets you create grading schemas, grading periods, categories, and columns to gather the information you need.
