Online Orientation Checklist

Make sure that you are ready to begin classes on the first day. Use the following checklist as a guide to ensure you are prepared.

Submit Health Forms

Send your completed “Report of Medical History” form to:

If you are covered by a health insurance policy, you must complete a health insurance waiver each academic year. Forms can be found online at: www.umaryland.edu/health.

Submit Copy of  CPR

Submit a copy of your CPR card Professional Rescuer (without automatic defibrillator) or Professional Healthcare Provider-level CPR certification. Certification should be taken no more than three months before the first day of class. Your certification must be current throughout your enrollment in the program.

Obtain a Parking Permit

The student parking lot is located at Lexington Garage, 680 W. Lexington St. Parking permits are processed through the website at http://www.parking.umaryland.edu/students/index.htm.

Obtain Your UMB One Card (student ID)

Online Photo Submission
Simply e-mail your picture to the One Card Office BY AUGUST 1, 2011 and your ID will be ready when you arrive on campus!

Note: Must be a University of Maryland student and already registered for classes.

In Person

Register for an E-mail Account

Instructions about how to register for an UMSON e-mail account will be e-mailed to new students prior to orientation.
