Hispanic Association of Nursing Students

At the end of the 2003-2004 school year, a group of Hispanic/Latino students got togteher to form a student organization that included both undergraduate and graduate nursing students. There are some of us that are foreign born, some that are multiracial, and some that are just interested in the Latino community. Go to the HANS Web site »

Nursing Student Government Association

All undergraduate students at the University of Maryland School of Nursing are members of the NSGA. The purpose of the NSGA is to encourage fellowship among students and to create a sense of unity, cooperation, and understanding between the faculty and students. NSGA is a unique setting wherein students can voice their opinions and have an influence on the School of Nursing. The NSGA seeks to enhance students' experiences by organizing activities and educational opportunities. Sigma Theta Tau (Pi Chapter)

University of Maryland Association of Nursing Students (University Chapter)

UMANS is the University of Maryland's Chapter of the National Student Nurses Organization. As the local chapter of the NSNA, we participate in the annual convention. UMANS members must be a NSNA member and participate in UMANS events and fundraising to attend the Convention. Go to the UMANS Web site »
