Frequently Asked Questions
Will I have to enroll students into my Web-based course in Blackboard?
No, at the beginning of each semester, your class roster is downloaded from BANNER and batch loaded into Blackboard. This download happens throughout the semester on a daily bases. Therefore, if students register late or decide to add your course - they will not have access to it, until the next business day.
Why doesn't my official class roster match the list in Blackboard?
The automated process to add or remove students has not run since the change has been made in registration. If your class roster does not match your list in Blackboard for more than two business days please contact online@son.umaryland.edu.
