The purpose of this conference is to examine the best evidence for teaching nursing students. Examples of applying evidence in a variety of teaching strategies will be shared. The impact of using evidence in teaching is emphasized.
Objectives
Upon completion of this conference, the participants will:
- Examine research and other evidence on teaching and teaching methods in nursing
- Describe implications of current research for designing instruction and teaching in nursing
- Identify future directions in nursing education and implications for what and how we teach
- Identify ways to incorporate an evidence-base into teaching in nursing education.
