The University of Maryland School of Nursing offers two ways for interested and qualified candidates to pursue a career in nursing.
These competitive and rigorous academic programs educate students in state-of-the-art facilities by faculty who are leaders in their field, scientists who are on the cutting edge of research, and expert clinicians who will become inspirational mentors.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
As a student in this undergraduate program, you will be educated in an environment where evidence creates the foundation for curriculum and practice. Your clinical experiences will be stimulating and varied. By the time you complete your degree, you will be prepared to apply your comprehensive skills and leadership abilities in a wide variety of settings. Program offered at Baltimore and Shady Grove campuses.

Master of Science ~ Clinical Nurse Leader
This graduate program provides an intensive course of study for students who have already earned a baccalaureate degree in a field other than nursing. Graduates are prepared as generalists to provide direct care nursing.
