Application Process

How to Apply

Our professional admissions staff will assist you in selecting the best degree option for your individual circumstances, preparation, and goals. Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an Information Session or Open House (in person or online) at the School of Nursing. Information sessions are held frequently to provide advice and curriculum overviews. The sessions also offer open question and answer periods. For more information and the schedule of upcoming sessions, visit us online, contact us via e-mail, or call us at 410-706-0501.

Review Process

Students whose applications, official transcripts, test scores, and other required materials are received by the Office of Admissions by the stated deadlines will be considered for admission for the appropriate semester. All required materials must be received by the Office of Admission by the stated deadline for the student to be considered for admission.

A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 is required to be considered for admission. Admission is very competitive. Many applicants admitted to our programs have GPAs significantly above 3.0. All applications meeting the minimum requirements are evaluated by faculty admissions committees. Most program areas evaluate applications in a batch review process.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early in the respective fall or spring admission cycles as possible.
