The University of Maryland School of Nursing is ranked 11th among graduate nursing programs by U.S.News & World Report. The School’s Health Services Leadership and Management master’s specialty is ranked third in the nation. Rankings are done every three years.
National Institute of Health (NIH) National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR) Funding
The School of Nursing is ranked 19th in research funded by NINR.
Grant Funding in FY 2012, included:
- Extramural research funding of $7.6 million
- Total extramural funding of $12.8 million
This ranking does not include the substantial funding our investigators receive from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Centers for Disease Control & Prevention/The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (CDC/NIOSH), and other sources.
