Professional Education

Lifelong learning for nurses

The University of Maryland School of Nursing’s professional education programs advance the discipline of nursing and promote interprofessional education.

Working with universities, health care systems, government organizations, and other industries, we’re able to create programs that meet critical needs in local, state, and selected national and international markets.

In addition to conferences and institutes, we work with faculty experts to identify areas of growth and learning for professional nurses through the creation of online and face-to-face modulized course content.

The University of Maryland School of Nursing is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a provider of continuing nursing education (CNE). The Office of Professional Education administers this program.
